Julia Luyster, a graduate of Baylor University in Texas, is a member of The Florida Bar and the Washington D.C. Bar.
She is a member of the Florida Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Southern District of Florida. She is on the Editorial Board for The Florida Bar Journal and the Editorial Board for the Broward County Federal Bar Journal. She is a member of the Appellate Practice Committee, the Amicus Brief Committee and the Real Estate Section of The Florida Bar. She is a member of the Construction Law Committee and the Appellate Practice Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar and a member of the Professionalism Committee of the Broward County Bar. She is a member of the American Bar Association and a Division 10 Member for the Construction Law Section where she is a contributing author to The Construction Lawyer and provides the quarterly case law and legislative update for the section for the State of Florida. She is also a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. She is a frequent lecturer and author on areas as diverse as appellate practice, child custody, construction litigation and insurance coverage. Julia is a Child Ambassador with World Vision and actively involved in serving the needs of women and children in poverty. |
