Mireya was born in Honduras in 1979. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, cum laude. In 2005, Mireya earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Tulane University Law School. Prior to entering private practice, she was a Law Clerk/Staff Attorney at the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in West Palm Beach. While at Tulane Law School, Mireya was a Student Attorney of the Civil Litigation Clinic and served on the Board of the Public Interest Law Foundation and the Latino Student Association. Mireya concentrates her practice in the areas of Marital and Family Law, and Civil Litigation.
Mireya is licensed to practice before all state courts in Florida, the United States District Courts of the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mireya is a member of The Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
Mireya resides in Boynton Beach, Florida. She is fluent in Spanish.
